Led light therapy

Advanced Light Healing Technology
Celluma is an FDA-cleared LED light therapy device that uses specific wavelengths of blue, red, and near-infrared light to promote natural healing and rejuvenation in the body. At The Moshen Center, we use the Celluma PRO, a professional-grade device with a patented flexible design that conforms closely to the treatment area for optimal light energy absorption.
Unlike many light therapy devices, Celluma's shape-taking technology allows the panels to contour to your face, body, or any treatment area, ensuring maximum coverage and effectiveness. This innovative approach has made Celluma the trusted choice of thousands of doctors and clinicians worldwide.

How Celluma Works
Celluma uses low-level light therapy (also called photobiomodulation) to deliver safe, UV-free light energy through high-intensity LEDs. This light energy promotes a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to plant photosynthesis.
When light photons are absorbed by your cells' mitochondria, they're converted into cellular energy (ATP). This increased ATP production stimulates various metabolic processes that result in:
-
Enhanced cellular metabolism and repair
-
Increased collagen and elastin production
-
Improved circulation
-
Reduced inflammation
-
Accelerated tissue healing
-
Destruction of acne-causing bacteria
The treatment is completely non-invasive, painless, and requires no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after each session.

Key Benefits of Celluma

Healthy Aging & Skin Rejuvenation
Red and near-infrared wavelengths promote fibroblast activity, increasing the production of collagen and elastin to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and firmness, and restore a youthful glow.

Acne Treatment
Blue and red light are combined to reduce acne bacteria activity, calm inflammation, decrease redness and pimples, and prevent future breakouts without harsh chemicals or medications.
Pain Relief
Near-infrared light penetrates deep into muscle and joint tissue to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and ease discomfort from conditions like arthritis, chronic pain, muscle strains, and sports injuries.

Scalp & Hair Growth Support
Red light improves scalp and follicle health, helping to prevent hair loss and encourage regrowth by stimulating cellular activity in the hair follicles.
What to Expect During Your Celluma Session
Session length: Each Celluma treatment takes 30 minutes.
The experience: You'll relax comfortably while the Celluma device is positioned over your treatment area. The flexible panel conforms to your body, delivering targeted light energy without touching your skin. Many patients find the experience deeply relaxing and use the time to rest or meditate.
Preparation: Make sure the treatment area is clean and accessible. If treating your face, remove all makeup, lotions, and skincare products beforehand. Anything on the skin can act as a barrier to light energy absorption.
Eye protection: Protective goggles are required for face treatments and are available upon request for any treatment area.
Frequency: For optimal results, we recommend 2-4 treatments per week. Most patients see noticeable improvements after approximately 12 sessions, though individual results vary.
Standalone or combined: Celluma can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with acupuncture, herbal medicine, or other therapies for enhanced results.
Customized Treatment Protocols
The Celluma PRO offers multiple treatment modes, and we customize your protocol based on your specific needs and goals. Simply let us know which setting you'd like when booking your appointment, or we can discuss the best option for you during your visit.
